At dawn and dusk, kookaburras come together, punctuating the air with their distinctive, cackling laughter as they assert their territorial boundaries. Since its introduction in 1990, investors have remained devoted to this iconic silver series for over three decades, captivated by the call of the Australian Kookaburra.
While only 500,000 1oz coins will be circulated, there is no predetermined mintage limit for the 1 kilo and 10oz coins. However, production for these larger denominations will cease by the end of 2024. The Perth Mint will announce the official mintage for each coin.
